Сестра пожалела солдата.
Держала больного за руку.
Чуть свет заходила в палату.

А он оказался предатель.
Любил притворяться и ахать.
Она свято верила в муки.
Не знала, придётся страдать ей.

Для женщины рыцари в латах
Не все - кавалеры и братья.
Сквозь полуприкрытые веки
Любил он над ней насмехаться.

Любил упиваться он властью
Над сердцем подруги бесстрастно
И исподтишка делал ставки
На чувства с ухмылкою сладкой.

За веру наивную платим
Ценою любимых и счастья.
К нам часто приходит разлука
Одетой в обманное платье.

Тогда Бог спускался ко мне и не прятал лица.

И он меня, словно ребёнка, ласкал и баюкал,
И вёл меня в недра зловещих пугающих тайн,
Давая мне силы терпеть нелюбви земной муки,
Взамен мне любви неземной покровителем став.
